Thankful

This time of year I can't help but feel so abundantly blessed! My children are happy, healthy, and love each other. I love my husband more and more each day and enjoy watching him as a dad so much that it brings tears to my eyes. We are surrounded by family, friends, and neighbors that we adore. Honestly, I feel like it doesn't get much better than this! Well, being a permanent stay at home mom would be the icing on the cake but I'll enjoy my break while I can I suppose!

This Thanksgiving we decided to stay home as a happy new family of 5. It was definitely bittersweet because we had such a great time enjoying each other but I missed seeing family so much. Brian and Sarah stayed in the mountains with her family and my parents stayed home because my dad recently had surgery on his shoulder and is pretty limited in what he's able to do. Jamey's parents always stay home and we weren't feeling too optimistic about traveling any real distances with the 3 of them just yet! Also with my dad's injury, we didn't really think it was in his best interest to surround him with 3 boys who love to play with Pop!

We went to the park in the morning for a few hours and then came home and cooked the day away for our Thanksgiving Feast as the boys liked to call it. Ashley and Andrew came to eat with us and it was really nice to have some much needed extended family time with them! Hudson was 1 month old on Thanksgiving and smarty Carter also pointed out to me that he'll be 2 months old on Christmas Day! It looks like our holidays will be filled with lots of milestones for the baby boy!

How can I possibly already be 1 month old?!
