Oh Boy, A Week at The Beach!

Cooper has been picking up more and more words/phrases lately and his newest addition happened at the beach, where everything from playing outside to taking a bath meant he'd say in the most precious little voice, "Oh boy!" We had quite possibly the best week ever hanging out with the people I love the most in all the world. My birthday and my mom's were wonderful because we were able to spend them together! We had awesome food, company, weather, and of course beverages to help us enjoy ourselves to the fullest:) The boys had fun and really were troopers considering we'd head out on the beach for several hours at a time - snacks, drinks, and my lap for Cooper were the essentials to happiness and as long as Carter had a Gatorade and someone to talk to he was good to go! Cooper was quite the lap baby for the first part of the week and I've joked that I probably have the most exfoliated thighs around after his sandy little bottom went up and down on them! He warmed up quite a bit to the ocean and to everyone around him and really did have a good time! We can't thank you all enough for making it so much fun and for all you did for us! I can't wait to see you all soon and I hope you have some time on your hands for the pictures - I'm just so indecisive that I have to include them all!


This is the funniest man I've ever met, one of my parent's closest friends, and Lesley's dad. He makes everyone around him have so much more fun!
One of my good friends Lesley and her parents stayed with us Saturday night and we had the best time! She was my best friend growing up and my college roommate, but it's been a while since we've been together - funny how relationships like that never really change and you can just pick up where you left off.
Carter wasn't scared of the water at all but didn't really like the feeling of saltwater in his eyes!


Cooper loved playing in holes while Carter is in the background driving cars around his "race track". He was so good at entertaining himself and I was so thankful because Cooper was all I could handle most of the time!
I think he might think he's cool here!
