My house is an absolute disaster but I'm learning to embrace the chaos and enjoy the moments as much as possible as these are the days that we will truly remember. Times with family, friends, water, tan little bodies and white little bottoms are absolutely some of my favorite things. My dad's doing great and is such an inspiration and example for us all of courage, bravery, and optimism in the face of some not so fun things. We loved having him off for a few weeks and enjoyed many a pool day with beloved Pop. All three still think he hung the moon and I think it's just about the sweetest thing ever to see them with him. They literally light up when he walks into the room. Swim is going great for both boys...Carter is doing great and setting personal best times at every meet and loving hanging with his buddies in between heats while Cooper has gone from doggie paddling to perfecting a dive that would rival his brothers (don't tell him that!) and swimming with perfect form in main events at each meet. They are both loving racking up all the ribbons and have them prominently displayed all over their room:)! Hudson continues to be a natural born little fish and could easily do swim team if I wasn't worried his behavior would impact his performance! He can backstroke with the best of them and is inventing all sorts of new moves off the diving board and slide, such as the "icebreaker" just to name one. He is the lifeguards' favorite and they all cheer him on as he attempts his next trick.
We are living in the moment, loving our times with friend and family, and spending as much time as we can near the water...what could be better!? We are so very blessed!
