"Up" To No Good

This little guy has been perfecting his pulling up skills for the past few weeks and now has his new trick in the bag. He is so cute and proud but terrifies his mommy with his newest trick! He thinks he can pull up on anything, a box of wipes that topples over the second he pushes down on it, a laundry basket with nicely folded clothes just begging him to scatter them around the room, kitchen chairs, you name it he does it. We lowered his crib to the lowest setting just the other day and now find him standing at his crib rail crying for us after naps and in the morning because he hasn't figured out how to get down from his standing spot just yet:). He's also the proud owner of a new front tooth with 3 more top teeth on the way to make a grand total of 6 in a few days.

He often forgets that he's standing and reaches out like he's about the skip across the room.
Cute Carter started t-ball a few weeks ago and so far he's really having fun. They've only had practices so he's getting excited to have a game coming up next week! His team is the Nationals and I think his favorite part thus far has been the apparel, from the batting helmets, cleats, and glove, to the fancy compression shorts he gets to wear under his baseball pants:).

He's doing great hitting off the tee but still needs to pay a little more attention when his coaches are working with the team on fielding and base running but I'm sure he'll get there before his 2 month season is over!

It's a whole new world up here, with lots of things for me to destroy!






We have a house guest for a few days in the form of sweet George, my parents' dog. He is such a joy to have around and the boys have really liked having a pup to love on and take care of, as have their parents!


The big boys and I have been trying to play outside during Hudson's am nap so we can beat the heat and still have some outside time that doesn't have to involve a pool! Today we had bike races, complete with a fancy start and finish line that Coop helped me draw - he was so serious and proud to cruise into the finish line with such a captive, cheering audience in me, Carter, and George!
