Family days with absolutely nothing on the agenda are very rare these days so today we took advantage of our open schedule and had a family trip to Chapel Hill. It was a perfect day and a perfect way to spend time together and enjoy a place that is so near and dear to us. The way we feel about Chapel Hill and Carolina isn't something we can either easily describe. It is an amazing place filled with lots of awesome memories from childhood football and basketball games to fun, wild college memories, to trips now coming as a family, where we realize just how quickly our fun times passed and how much we miss those carefree days!
We went to Sutton's for lunch and then headed to campus to let the boys run around and see all the cool spots. They loved Ramooses and Carter hopped right on as you can see!

Hesitant initially when we realized the gate to the field was open but they had a blast and acted like they owned the place.

Hudson kept telling us every time we said we were going to Chapel Hill that he couldn't wait to go to "chocolate hill and see Gio!" While there were no Gio spottings, I think we all managed to have a great day together!
