Sun and Sand

Our much anticipated beach week of the summer has sadly come and gone.  We look so forward to our trip all year but it's seems to always pass by just a little too quick!  We went to Garden City, SC this year and really enjoyed it.  I think it may be our new favorite spot.  Brian and Sarah were only able to stay for a few nights but we made the most of our time together with lots of cornhole, paddle ball, baseball, swimming, playing and of course eating and drinking:).


I think it's safe to say we have three beach boys...they all loved it and weren't the least bit hesitant about the sand or water.  Hudson was probably the most fearless of the bunch, which was a little scary but he settled down and fortunately stopped running full speed towards the water every chance he got.  Carter was a fish and spent most of his time in the water swimming and jumping the waves.  Coop liked the water but was happier to build sand castles and play in the sand.


My mom used to vacation here when she was a little girl so there was definitely a lot of neat nostalgia surrounding the trip.  We went to dinner at a restaurant her parents used to take her to so that was really special and fun for everyone.  We were sad our week had come to an end but really look forward to our next trip already!  Thanks so much Mom and Dad...we love you so much and had a great time!
