It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want to!

We had sweet Hudson baptized yesterday and had such an amazingly blessed day. We felt so lucky to be surrounded by such awesome family and friends and I am so glad to have our last little boy's big day behind us! He did pretty well but had his moments during church where he made sure we hadn't forgotten about him! Carter and Cooper stayed in church with us for the entire service and were perfect angels. I told Jamey it must have been divine intervention and my mom's best friend told her that we must have put the fear of God in them because of how well-behaved they were. Whatever it was, it was just a special day that I will never forget.

Thanks so much to each and every one of you that helped us along the way and participated in his big day. My parents weren't able to be with us because my mom recently had surgery but they were absolutely with us in spirit and it honestly felt like a little part of them was there with Mrs. Perry (her best friend) coming to be with us.

Hudson was quite out of sorts after his little cat naps from all the festivities so he wasn't the happiest of campers for most of the day as you can tell from his facial expression in most of the pictures! He finally took an awesome afternoon nap in his swing, woke up for a bit and then slept from 9pm until 5:30am! Bless his precious little heart, he was pooped and he knew his mommy was too!

If only Hudson could be happier and Cooper could have his eyes open..sigh!
Yes, my 3rd child was baptized with a pacifier:)
The joys of attempting a family photo
Such a happy baby with his lunch spread
Pretty table thanks to Sarah!

He isn't crying or plugged up with a paci!

3D glasses are too cool for school!
And here's the cry baby again with 2 of his godparents
That's much better!

SNOW

Just call me Mom of the Year. I've done 3 blog posts in 1 day and my 2 month old (wow!) is screaming at me to get off of the computer because his poor little legs hurt from his 3 shots today at the pediatrician and he'd like some love. He was 11lbs. 5oz. and looked perfect BTW;). Our snow pictures were a must for me to get up though because we'll soon hopefully have more to come after our trip to the mountains!

The boys were just a tad excited about it as you can see and loved every second of sledding, snowball throwing, and snow angel and snowman making. I'd say their smiles and rosy cheeks say it all! Now on to that screaming child I'm neglecting...

It's That Time...Christmas Time is Here!

The boys are still on a candy high from their stockings and in toy trances from all the things they were given for Christmas! We've had the best time and I can't imagine the excitement and fun being any better than it was for them this year. They both have no doubts about Santa yet and were just genuinely happy about the whole holiday. My parents came to spend a few days with us and stayed through Christmas and their company was awesome. Hudson is a good baby but definitely has some moments where he needs a little extra TLC and it was so nice to have lots of people around to give him or the boys just that!

The boys racked up and our house looks like Santa's sleigh exploded but I'm trying to relax a little about it and just enjoy the moments (easier said than done but I'm working on it :)). They have really loved everything but are particularly happy with their new train set Tomica, Glow Stations, cameras, Carter's Leapster Explorer, and Cooper's inherited Leapster. They both also got cute games and I've played more Connect Four in the past two days than I ever thought possible but Carter LOVES it. Hudson had a good day too and now has lots of new baby toys and other goodies.

Jamey's dad and mom came on Christmas Eve so it was great to have lots of family here if only for a little while! The boys were happy to see them but were also quite excited to get to open a few presents before Christmas Day! My parents left Christmas morning so we had a pretty chill day with just the five of us and then Ashley came that night so we've celebrate three times already and are eagerly awaiting our mountain trip in a few days to have one last Christmas hoorah with Brian and Sarah. We are so lucky to have such awesome family and loved every minute of time we were able to spend with each of you! Merry Christmas!
